Hi Zaadsters—–
I'm Renee, Matthew's mom and friend.  I'm so happy and proud to share him with you.  I think he might be one of the reasons I was supposed to have children instead of going to China to find a guru after my enlightenment (state, and therefore not completely apprehended, understood etc.) experience when I was 19 years old —  as old as some of you lucky ones now!!!

Why do I want to be here anyways blogging with a bunch of philosophers, all fluffy and warm?  Answer found in previous sentence.

A Bit About Myself:

I am the mother of 4 children, one girl (Amy, who I gave up for adoption when I was 19 years old) and three boys - Jeremy, Matthew and Samuel.  I am  married to a very gentle soul, Sheridan.  He is the father of my boys, and as I said on my first post at my blogplace - I love him very much.

I am a dental hygienist.  This line of work was chosen by me when I was about 36 years old because I wanted to make good money doing part time work.  I still wanted to be at home with my children more, not less.  It has not been a bad choice per say, but it was never my intention - like say as a 12 year old girl - to be a fantastic, famous hygienist.  It was a practical move.  I chose it even though I was in the midst of an awakening - at the time of transition between being at home with my children and figuring out who I wanted to be otherwise.  I'm glad I did it because I found out I could get and hold a 'real' job in the world.
So, I am not a dental hygienist…it's just a job…
until I get somebody in my chair with dental anxiety, or I help somebody get caught up…or somebody steps into my operatory to talk to me and I have to practice being present to my blushing. Then it's more than a job.  It's real life, you see.  And I love it.  I love it because people are there.  I love people.  I love you guys and we've never met.  But I know a single truth:  You are the mountain I want to climb.  You are the depths of the ocean, full of danger and beauty beyond compare.  You are flowers and the sparkle upon them when the morning sun is warming the earth.  You are cold and you are hot but never lukewarm!  You enliven me because I know that I am in you and you are in me.  It excites me to think that anyone of you with your amazing intelligence or artistic ability or soft sweetness would actually consent to touching me with your knowledge or your beauty… or your strength.  I love you~

I call that a “bit about myself” - There are so many zaadzsters at this site and I have a lot of work cut out for me trying to glean a bit about each one of you.  I'll start by taking one 'bit' at a time –hows about that?
